Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = HSLC examination or its equivalent examination passed Other Essential Qualification: 6 (six) months Recorders Certificate Class Course Training from the Assam Survey and Settlement Training Centre Dakhingaon, Guwahati and having Certificate of R.C.C.C Training.
Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Age of the Candidates on 01.01.2020 shall be between 18 (eighteen) years minimum and the upper age must not exceed 38 (thirty-eight) years. The upper age is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC and 10 (ten) years for PWD category candidates.
* The name of the candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam and the details of the valid registration are to be furnished along with the application form with copy of employment registration card.
* The candidates already in service should apply through proper channel ensuring that their application reaches this office on or before the last date of submission of application.

The candidate may deposit/submit the application at the office of the Settlement Officer, Cachar and Hailakandi Districts, Silchar, PWD Road, Silchar-1 during office hours on working days or send by post as per the postal addressed as given above.
Self attested copies of academic and RCC Certificate, marks sheet, Caste Certificate and other testimonials along with 2 (two) copies of recent passport size colored photograph and one self-addressed envelope affixing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (size 24cm X 10cm) along with the application should be submitted in one envelope with the superscription on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Addl.
